Hariyali Fish Shape Veg Paratha instructions
- For green puree:- Wash all the greens then blanch the palak..
- Add blanched palak, coriander leaves, mint leaves in a blender and make smooth paste..
- For dough:- In a large bowl mix flour, salt, oil and mix well. Add green puree 1cup and mix well. Add water as required to make a smooth dough. Knead well for 3-4 minutes..
- For stuffing:- Combine all the ingredients and mix well..
- For paratha:- Divide the dough into equal parts and make small balls with the help of your palm..
- Roll them out as you do for normal roti..
- Now take a sharp knife and make cut as shown in the pic. Place 1 tbsp stuffing in the centre of the rolled out roti..
- Now alternately start wrapping it the same way we do while making a hair braid but do it with a safe hand. Give fish shape..
- Take black pepper and place it just on the top of the paratha..
- Hot non stick pan/tawa and place fish shaped patatha on it..
- Drop some ghee/butter when it gets little brown spots on one side and do the same for both sides..
- Cook till they are crisp and get golden brown colour..
- Serve hot with tomato sauce, curd or green chutney as liked..
