Ingredients of Khoya Roses
- Prepare 3 tbsp of ghee/clarified butter.
- You need to prepare 1/2 cup of milk.
- Prepare 1 cup of milk powder.
- You need to prepare 2 tbsp of powdered sugar.
- Prepare 3-4 drops of rose colour.
- You need to prepare 3-4 drops of yellow colour.
- You need to prepare 3-4 drops of green colour.
- You need to prepare 1 tsp of cardamom powder.
Khoya Roses instructions
- Take heavy bottomed pan, turn on to low flame, add 2tbsp ghee in it, add milk to it, stir it, when milk is well a incorporated with ghee add milk powder in batches, add cardamom powder,mix well cook on low flame, keep stirring.
- It gets sticky in consistency within 6-7 minutes starts leaving edges and comes to dough form, take out from flame spread it on wide plate, let it cool down a bit.
- After few minutes add 1tbsp ghee knead well add powdered sugar mix well and divide in to three portions, two bigger and one smaller.
- Add rose colour, and yellow colour to big portions, and green colour to small portion to form leaves.
- Now take pink ball place on greased plastic sheet cover it with one more sheet roll out to thin, with a small lid cut in to roundels,.
- Take one roundel and form a bud, form petals from other roundels start sticking to the bud one after the other continue wrapping petals until you are happy with rose formed, repeat with yellow colour ball too,.
- Now stick all the roses to a plate according to how you would like to arrange, form two tiny leaves and stick them too.. and its done...!!.
